Is there a codec or some sort of add-on I can get to allow WMP or WMC to play HD Blu-Ray discs? If not, what's a good free 3rd-party software that you'd recommend, other than Corel WinDVD?

! Good question..... You are near to my heart right now because I just installed a DVD downloading service, and quite frankly am puzzled by all the additional software they're offering. I've alway gotten by with "Quick Play" an HP invention that was included along with Windows Media Center on my favorite notebook. It handles DVD&HD, with no problem. BluRay is something else I've never needed or used. There are updates from Microsoft in my computer regarding BluRay, so I believe a simple assist software is all that would be needed. I found this recommendation on the Internet: http://www.ditii.com/2007/09/09/windows-vista-media-center-how-to-play-xvid-and-avi-files/ AND Link Removed due to 404 Error (Windows Vista Media Center: Play Blu-ray and HD Dvd Movies-ditii.com) http://www.avs4you.com (check out AVS Online Help)
