I am using a windows 8.1 version. When I am typing in app (ms word or even mozilla) suddenly I can not press any input. It seems like I got kicked by the app to return to the desktop but not minimized the app. When I press any input it making the usual wrong input sound from windows.

Please help me it get so annoying when I am writing or even doing anything with my apps.

Solution
The issue you're facing with applications seemingly losing focus or not accepting input can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this problem: 1. Check for Malware: - Run a full antivirus scan on your system to rule out any malware or malicious software causing interruptions. 2. Update Drivers: - Ensure that your keyboard and mouse drivers are up to date. You can check for driver updates in Device Manager or download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website. 3. Check for Background Programs: - Some background programs or services might be causing conflicts. Try closing unnecessary programs running in the background and see if the issue persists. 4...

Check for Background Programs: - Some background programs or services might be causing conflicts. Try closing unnecessary programs running in the background and see if the issue persists. 4. Keyboard Settings: - Check your keyboard settings, especially if you've configured any special shortcuts or macros that could potentially interfere with regular typing. 5. Disable Overlay Software: - If you have any overlay software running (like screen recording or in-game overlays), try disabling them to see if they are causing the issue. 6. System Resources: - Monitor your system resources while using applications. High CPU or memory usage could lead to application freezes or focus issues. 7. Run System File Checker (SFC): - Use the System File Checker tool to scan and repair corrupted system files. Open a Command Prompt as an administrator and run sfc /scannow. 8. Windows Updates: - Make sure your Windows 8.1 is fully updated with the latest patches and security updates. Sometimes, system updates can resolve underlying issues. 9. Check Event Viewer: - Look in the Event Viewer for any error messages or warnings that might provide more information on what is causing the application focus issue. 10. Clean Boot: - Perform a clean boot to start Windows with minimal services and startup programs. This can help identify if a third-party application is causing the problem. If the issue persists after trying these steps, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support or seeking assistance from a tech professional to further diagnose and resolve the focus problem in your applications.
