Windows 7 Help! My Windows Media Player cannot work!

Hey all, new here though.
Anyway, I'm having a problem playing MP4, WMV, WMA and even MP3 format files on my Windows Media Player!

It keeps saying:
Link Removed due to 404 Error

For almost 20times.
Someone please kindly help me?

Check under add/remove programs (programs and features) for any installed codecs. Most likely the installed codecs are interfering with the native windows codecs.
If you're still having problems, Shark007's FREE Codec solutions - Windows 7 codecs shark's codecs might solve it for you.
If still no luck, try using mpchc for video playback.
