So about a month ago my computers audio started to crackle and skip. Rebooting corrects the problem for about 30 minutes then its back to crackling. It happens while I play any sort of video game (Arma, Diablo III, Counter Strike) and it also happens when watching/listening to any sort of media weather it be from my PC or on youtube. its made my computer unbearable to listen to anything on it. After some research on various forums i was directed to a couple latency monitors. (see pics attached) Both programs recommended going into the device manager to disable and re-enable drivers until i find the misbehaving one. I've tried this to no success. Ive un-installed my video card drivers as well. This too had no effect. Any info or advice would be much appreciated.
My computer specs are:
Intel(R)Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.20GHz
8.00GB of DDR3 RAM
GIGABYTE Z77X-D3H Motherbored
ASUS Radeon R7 260 Graphics card
High Definition Audio.
And I'm running Windows 8.1
