Although I go back 60 years in programming, I'm not a "today" coder. This particular question came up somewhere else, and the "correct" way to do this was to set the owner of the message (whatever that means).
Is it possible for a user to do this "from the outside" without getting into coding?

Solution
Setting the owner of a message, often referred to as assigning a message to a specific user or account, typically requires administrative privileges or specific roles within a system or application. In most cases, this type of action is restricted to administrators, moderators, or users with elevated permissions to manage messages, threads, or posts.
If you are using a forum or messaging platform that allows message ownership assignment at a user level, you might need to check the platform's documentation or settings to see if such functionality is available for regular users. However, direct user assignment of message ownership without coding or administrative access may not be a standard feature in many forum or messaging systems.
