Windows 7 How do I save my IE links on the favorites bar so i can upload them after a factory restore?

I must do a factory restore and i want all of my bookmarks on my internet explorer bar to be saved on a flash drive but i cant find the right folder. i go into the owner folder click on favorites and click on favorites bar but it doesnt list all of the favorites that are actually on my internet explorer bar.

how do i go about saving ALL of the favorites on my favorites bar in internet explorer so i can upload them later?

File>>>Import and Export>>>Export to a file... and follow prompts. To restore, use the same command and select "Import from file".

I am a Chrome user but this thing is kind of straightforward. You can also import the file you created to Chrome.
