Hi
I have a huge number (several thousand) Fonts files from my old WindowsXP PC.
I only want to install certain specific fonts. But the font files all have very short, unhelpful file names
How can I see what their actual font names will be when I install them in Windows7 ?

Solution
You could try opening the font files with notepad and look for the font names there. I'm sure there is special software to view fonts like:
