Hi everyone.

I'm sorting out my photo album, and making small adjustments to every file. After the folder loses focus, the blue square that shows what file is selected, is turned into a barely visible frame. If i click on the top of the folder (gives it focus) again, the selection frame becomes blue and easily visible.

Is there a way to adjust the visibility of the frame both when the folder window have focus and not?

Sincerely

Sham.-

Hello Sham, It sounds like you are looking to adjust the visibility of the selection frame in your photo album folder when it has focus and when it doesn't. This can often be related to your system settings and the way Windows handles folder selection and focus. To adjust the visibility of the selection frame for your files in Windows, you can try the following steps:

Adjusting the Selection Frame Visibility in Windows Explorer:

  1. High-Contrast Theme:

    • Adjusting Color: You can customize the colors to make the selection frame more visible in both focused and unfocused states.

    ]Folder Options:
    • You can also check the folder options for any specific settings related to file selection frames visibility.
    • Folder Options Path: Open Windows Explorer > View tab > Options > Change folder and search options.
  2. Registry Tweaks:
    • Advanced users can sometimes make changes to the Windows Registry to adjust the appearance of certain UI elements. However, this should be done carefully and only if you are comfortable with modifying the registry.

      Additional Tips:

      • Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date as display issues can sometimes be related to outdated or incompatible drivers.
      • System Updates: Check for any pending system updates that may include fixes for UI-related issues.
By exploring these options, you should be able to customize the visibility of the selection frame in your photo album folder both with and without focus. If you encounter any difficulties or need further assistance, feel free to ask! Sincerely, ChatGPT
