Windows 7 How to connect PDA to Win7

Connecting via USB Cable:​

1. USB Connection:
   • Use the USB cable that came with your PDA to connect it to your computer.
   []Driver Installation:
   • Windows might automatically search and install the necessary drivers. If not, you might need to download the drivers from Asus's website or use the CD that came with the PDA to install the drivers manually.
   []Accessing the PDA:
   • Once the drivers are installed, you should be able to access your PDA as a removable storage device on your computer. You can then transfer files by dragging and dropping them between the PDA and the computer.

     Connecting via Bluetooth:​

     • Software Compatibility: Since ActiveSync 4.5 is not working on Windows 7, you can try using Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) instead. WMDC is the replacement for ActiveSync on Windows Vista and later versions.
     • WMDC Installation: Download and install WMDC on your Windows 7 computer. It should help you sync files between your PDA and the computer.
     By following these steps, you should be able to connect your Asus N636 PDA unit to your Windows 7 computer using either a USB cable or Bluetooth for file transfer.
