Solution
To disable encryption for file sharing on Windows 7 within a LAN (Local Area Network) where you are using a wired connection, you can adjust the security policy settings. Here's how you can do it: 1. Open Local Group Policy Editor: - Press Windows + R, type gpedit.msc, and hit Enter to open the Local Group Policy Editor. 2. Navigate to the Security Settings: - In the Local Group Policy Editor window, go to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options. 3. Find the Policy: - Look for the policy called "Microsoft network server: Digitally sign communications (always)". 4. Modify the Policy: - Double-click on the policy and set it to...

Apply Changes: - Click on Apply and then OK to save the changes. 6. Restart: - You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. By following these steps, you should be able to disable encryption for file sharing on your Windows 7 LAN without the use of 128-bit or 56-bit encryption methods. This will allow for unencrypted file sharing over the wired connection on your LAN.
