Windows 7 How to send Message on Windows 7 Computer via CMD?

My three PC's are all in homegroup, but when i do "msg * text" the message only goes to the PC thats sends .. for example .. if from my laptop i do that cmd .. the msg only returns to me .. why my other PC's dont get the message?

- they are on the same network and in homegroup

Hi Sristovski,

I think you might be referring to a net send.

Open a command prompt > Type net send /(ip, computer name or username you would like to send to)

While you have a trouble type net send/? For assistance within the command prompt. Then you must have enable ICMP traffic on your network for this to work.
