Windows 7 How To Use Pen Drive As RAM In Windows 7/8

If you want to use your pen drive as RAM then follow the steps that are given below.

1. Plug-in your Pen Drive and note that pen Drive should be 1 GB or More in Size.
2. Right-click on Pen drive and then click on Properties.
3. Now click Readyboost tab.
4. Click on Use This Device.
5. Click on OK button.

Yes...read boost was a feature that came with windows Vista. Basically it's for systems with older hardware that's slow and outdated with not enough RAM to help give it a "BOOST", hence the terminology of Ready Boost. With most modern systems it's not a viable option anymore. Here's a few articles to explain it all.
