Windows Code name blackcomb now Vienna, and Windows NT 5.1, codenamed "Whistler"; were both named after the Whistler-Blackcomb resort. Vista, codename longhorn, which was an intermediate release, was named after a bar at the Whistler-Blackcomb resort.

Isn't Microsoft smart at the naming? :p

Same. But anyway, these names are quite fascinating, they're not simple. Vista means some kind of Window is Spanish or something along the lines...

Vista is a beautiful view, and XP is a shortened form of eXPerience.

Correct, that's why we have good wallpaper in Windows Vista. :p
