Windows 7 Hp Photosmart C4485 drivers wont install

Im running Windows 7 6801 (64bit).
Got everything working apart from my printer.
Tried all the tricks run as adim run comp. vista rtm, unzipped installer to just use drivers.
But i keep getting 2 fails as its installing , get to about 39% before it stops.
Any ideas apart from a new printer as this is going out the window haha.

Yes they do work but you need to download the software saving it to your desktop,then open troubleshooter in control panel, choose vista compatibility for your file on the desktop.now run the set up and low and behold it works and iv`e installed all the photosmart software aswell
