To resolve the issue with moving the captures folder location back from OneDrive to its original location on your local drive, you can try the following steps: 1. Check Permissions: - Ensure you have the necessary permissions to modify the location of the captures folder. Right-click on the original folder, go to Properties > Security tab to check the permissions. - You might need to take ownership of the folder to modify its location settings if access is denied. 2. Move Folder via Settings: - Go to Settings > System > Storage. - Under 'More storage settings', click 'Change where new content is saved'. - Change the location for 'New photos and videos will save to'. 3. Move Folder Location Manually: - Try moving the folder manually to the desired location in File Explorer. - Go to %userprofile%\Pictures\Screenshots, cut the 'Screenshots' folder from OneDrive and paste it back to the original location. 4. Unlink OneDrive: - Temporarily unlink your OneDrive account to release the folder from synchronization. - Move the folder back to its original location. - Re-link OneDrive after moving the folder. 5. Use Command Prompt (if unable to move in File Explorer): - Open Command Prompt as an administrator. - Use the robocopy command to copy the folder from its current location to the desired location. After trying these steps, you should be able to move the captures folder back to its original location on your local drive instead of OneDrive. If you encounter any issues during the process, let me know the specifics, and I can provide more targeted assistance.
