Windows 7 I buddy problem

Ive got the msn i buddy once i download the software it works lovely but if i have to resart my pc for any reason, then the i buddy stops working,i jhave tried 3 different software versions but non of them to do the trick, ive got vista service pack 1 if anyone can help me i would be most grateful its driving me mad thanks.
