I have a unsupported microsoft mouse, but it has extra side buttons. Can I enable the use for these?

The title says it all, but i will explain more detail.
I have a AZZA gaming mouse. The mouse has a few different buttons. Normally with the games i play, I can just go to controls. But a game I am playing does not yet have a controls feature. I want to change the middle-click to one of my side buttons, but the game will most likely never have one because the creator of the game has gone silent and is no longer updating the game. I thought of a solution for this. I would go into mouse properties and change the function of my scroll wheel. The only issue is my mouse apparently not supported by microsoft. I looked into a driver software called IntelliPoint, but that does not seems to add compatibility for my mouse.

Is there any way for me to add compatibility for my mouse?

No it is not a Diablo model. But i have just found a solution with AutoHotkey. I had to change the two keys around by scripting.

oh sorry for not answering the first question. I didn't see it until now.
The model of the mouse i am unsure of, and the game is cube world.
    Thanks though.
