It strikes me from reading this thread that your old board has a bottlenecking potential on almost any PCIe 3.0 card. Your mobo has a GForce 630a chipset which is PCIe 1.1. The newer cards should work but at the much slower speed.

IMHO the 1050 would be sitting in neutral. Perhaps a NV 750 or AMD 260 would be a more in line with your system's abilities.
