I still have remnants of the nasty "full-speed enabled" hanging around that I want to get rid of before upgrading to Win 8 soon. Thanks.

M Mitchell_A Essential Member Joined Feb 7, 2009 Apr 19, 2013 #2 I'm not sure about any way to backup settings (nit that nard to reconfigure anyway), but you can go to C:\Users\yourname\Favourites and copy all those items to a backup location. Settings in Windows 8 are backed up automatically.
