Windows 7 IE9 freezes when favorites icon is clicked!

On a fresh bootup, everytime I try to lunch internet explorer 9 and click on the favorites icon on the right the whole browser hangs for 1-2mins. I have tried restoring advance settings/reset in internet options, clearing all my favorites, and cleaning the registry, but none of them worked. I couldnt find a solution in the internet, so my only hope is this forum.

Can anyone suggest a fix for this, I really would appreciate it
