Windows 8 If I installed installed stock windows 8 pro will I get the updates on time ?

I decided to buy the samsung ativ smart pc, because the surfice pro is not available in my country and I

don't have a credit card.

and the guy at the store said that i can install windows 8 pro on the device, but my question is this:

if I installed stock windows 8 pro on the samsung ativ smart pc, would it get the updates on time like

the microsoft surface pro ?

and will the s pen still work if i installed stock windows 8 pro on the samsung ativ smart pc ?
