Hi

I converted a VDMX file to WHDX using Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter Tool. I need to attach converted WHDX to Hyper-V Server 2019 via WAC.

Can anyone please advise me how to do it.

Thank you in advance.

To attach a converted WHDX file to a Hyper-V Server 2019 using Windows Admin Center (WAC), you can follow these general steps: 1. Access Windows Admin Center (WAC): - Open a web browser. - Enter the URL for your Windows Admin Center instance (typically https://localhost:6516). 2. Navigate to Hyper-V: - Log in to the Windows Admin Center. - Locate and click on the Hyper-V tool in the left-hand menu under "Virtual Machines". 3. Attach the Virtual Disk (WHDX): - In the Hyper-V tool, look for an option to add a new virtual disk or attach an existing one. - Click on the option to attach an existing virtual disk. - Browse to the location where the converted WHDX file is saved and select it. - Follow the on-screen...

Verify the Virtual Disk: - Once the attachment process is complete, confirm that the WHDX virtual disk is successfully attached to the Hyper-V Server through Windows Admin Center. 5. Create or Add VM: - After attaching the virtual disk, you can create a new virtual machine and use this disk as its storage, or add the disk to an existing VM as needed. These steps are general guidelines based on the typical procedure for attaching a virtual disk in Hyper-V through Windows Admin Center. The actual process may vary slightly depending on the specific options and layout of your Windows Admin Center interface. If you encounter any specific issues or need further assistance during this process, feel free to provide more details or ask for additional help!
