Hi

I just use the pin number, it's fast and easy.
But I have my computer set up to log in without asking.

I haven't tried the facial recognition thing but if it's as dodgy as Cortana I'm not surprised that it doesn't work all the time.

To make Windows boot directly...

Hit Windows Key + R.

In the Run window type...

netplwiz

Uncheck the box that requires a login, say OK, and enter your password.

kemical posted a windows update for today … there's some topic regarding facial recognition in the latest update:
" Addressed additional issues with Microsoft Edge, clustering, Internet Explorer, Windows Update, input devices, facial recognition, Logon, Hyper-V, PCI bus drivers and Windows Kernel. "
