Windows 7 Imstalling Windows 7 upgrade for vista and it finds Kaspersky on my computer but no way to uninstall

I'm installing Windows 7 upgrade for vista and it finds Kaspersky anti virus on my computer and tells me to uninstall. I have no knowledge of this programme and can't find it anywhere on my computer so I can't uninstall.

if there is nothing skip the warning and go ahead - 7 installation will wipe it.

while you are at it it's recommended to clean install 7 instead of upgrading from Vista - it will save you a lot of headache when you do that right now

You might check for a special removal tool with Kaspersky. This Kaspersky link may lead you in the right direction, but make sure it is what you can use on your system.
