A diverse group of professionals discuss data displayed on a monitor in a modern conference room.
Inforcer, a London-based software company specializing in Microsoft 365 management solutions for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), has secured $35 million (£25.8 million) in a Series B funding round led by Dawn Capital, with participation from existing investor Meritech Capital. (tech.eu) This investment follows a $19 million (£14.6 million) Series A round in October 2024, also led by Meritech Capital. (inforcer.com)
Founded in 2022 by industry veterans Jamie Daum, Will Connor, Rory McInerney, and Richard Thompson, Inforcer aims to bridge the gap between MSPs and Microsoft's enterprise-grade technologies. The company's platform enables MSPs to standardize, deploy, back up, and restore Microsoft 365 policies across multiple tenants, thereby enhancing security and operational efficiency for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). CEO Jamie Daum emphasized the growing reliance on Microsoft's cloud services, stating, "In the modern, cloud-first landscape, where all business data sits within Microsoft's Cloud or other SaaS apps, the Microsoft tenant is the new server for MSPs." (tech.eu) This perspective underscores the critical role MSPs play in managing and securing client data within Microsoft's ecosystem.
The Series B funding is set to accelerate Inforcer's product development and global expansion efforts. The company has already established offices in the US, UK, Netherlands, Denmark, and Australia, reflecting its commitment to serving a diverse MSP community. Dawn Capital's General Partner, Evgenia Plotnikova, highlighted Inforcer's potential to transform MSPs into strategic AI partners for SMBs, noting, "Inforcer has the potential to help MSPs capitalize on a tectonic technology platform shift by becoming true strategic AI partners to their end customers, small businesses." (tech.eu)
This substantial investment underscores the increasing importance of MSPs in facilitating SMBs' adoption of advanced Microsoft technologies, particularly in the realms of security and artificial intelligence. By providing tools that simplify the management of Microsoft 365 environments, Inforcer empowers MSPs to deliver enhanced services, thereby driving better global economic and security outcomes.
As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the role of MSPs becomes increasingly vital. Investments like those secured by Inforcer not only validate the critical function MSPs serve but also equip them with the necessary resources to meet the growing demands of SMBs in a cloud-first world.
