Hi there, newbie here.
As per the post header, I keep getting the following -

"Intel(R) Corporation - System - 11/28/2017 12:00:00 AM - 9.21.0.3109
Status: Pending install"

So, I choose to install, and it does. But the update appears again the next time I ask for Windows Update check. How to get rid of this repeating message?

Thanks for any suggestions, Les.

Solution
I would stop the "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" and "Windows Update" service. Delete or rename "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution"
Re-enable the "Windows Update" service and check for updates.
While there is a way to hide a particular drive update, before we go to that measure can you tell us a bit more information about your system?

If its a pre-built computer such as Dell, HP, etc what model is it?

If it's a custom built computer what motherboard was used?

What Intel devices you have in device manager?

I've seen this happen to Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology driver before. What I would recommend is updating the drive by hand.

We should be able to find an answer for you if we have some more information.

Thanks Josephur.
