Windows 7 Internet connection crashes, then fixes itself

Hello everyone.
I have had this problem ever since I upgraded to Windows 7. (Which was about 7-8 months ago.)
Anyway.. My Internet (Wifi) turns off (or just crashes not sure which) occasionally. This happens every 5-10 minutes, and then is off for the same amount of time, 5-10 minutes.
The way I can make it 'crash' is by downloading a large-ish file. (Usually 100Mb+)

Also, my computer is set up to dual boot with Linux-Ubuntu. But I know Ubuntu could have nothing to do with this issue since Windows 7, and Ubuntu are on completely different hard drives.
I don't have the internet crashing in Ubuntu, ever. That is why I use it much, much more than Windows. I use Windows maybe.. maybe, one a month to fetch or file or two.
It would just be nice to have full internet access on my Windows drive so I can use
Windows-only features.
I have a few virus/malware detectors, suspecting there was some kind of worm or something that was causing this, and I found nothing.
I updated the drivers on my wireless receiver but that proved not to help.
Anyone else have this problem?
It is really discouraging me from using Windows..
Also, any suggestions?

Thanks.
