I was not sure if this was an appropriate entry in this section. I know it is not directly related to Windows
8 but, like it or not, IE10 is the default. There is a surprising lack of interest on the web, regarding this feature.
I have installed Firefox, as a standby, but am using IE10 (non-immersive) as much as possible to see if it has any gross
failings. So far, so good.
Has anyone had any bad experiences with it?

The only draw back I have found so far is that in posting in these forums, I have to use the Standard Editor instead of the Enhanced Interface Editor. If I use the Enhanced Interface Editor my Enter key will not do anything. With the Standard Editor

my Enter key moves the cursor to the next line allowing me to add paragraph breaks, etc.

Otherwise I am very pleased with IE 10. I do use the Desktop View, not the new view. I just am too accustomed to this view.

Agreed. person opinion is that the "Metro" look IE is appalling!

I want my favorites back!!!! Don't care for this pinning method at all, especially since I have over a hundred sites in my favorites in ie9. I guess for the time being I'll have to use the old desktop method for using ie.

Try hitting the ALT key. The Favorites are there, and a Favorites Bar can be added.
