Windows 8 Internet Explorer can't open Comcast home page?

Yeah, I don't have a clue either.
Since it was the same on my old computer it makes me think that something else that I run conflicts with IE, but I don't have any idea what that could be.
I'll just stick with Chrome, I haven't had many issues with it, and it is easy to use.
