As the title suggests this thread gives you a chance to say Hi and introduce yourself to the community.
Hi all, let me introduce myself.
I have been in IT, data-focused Product Development, and Engineering for over 30 years, with the last 20 years focused on new data-centric product developments. I hold nine patents and have two pending. I have spent the last 4 years studying, using, and testing AI to develop the depth of insight necessary to be productive in developing AI applications. I recently launched my fourth company, which is developing products and services in the field. Our products and services target the SMBs that need some help with their AI journey. We use a proprietary platform to create the most cost-effective, insightful, accurate, securely implemented, and direct path for our clients' AI implementations. We bring tools, develop custom project plans, and provide the expertise to guide clients toward successful AI implementations, with a focus on the areas clients determine are most beneficial. The custom AI plans provide cost projections, time required for each stage, the best AI platform fit for the project, and the projected benefits to the client. We work with the company as needed to execute the implementations while training their IT resources on AI management and development.
While I am comfortable with where I am with AI, I learn more every day. Anyone who tells you they have it all figured out doesn't know what they don't know. We are all still learning how to harness this new, powerful AI world and use it to advance mankind. Hopefully, the good advances will outweigh the bad. It does present a significant challenge to data security.
I believe that in the next five years, we will see more advances in our lives than any of us has ever experienced. When combined with Quantum Computing, it will drive such accelerated advancements that we must be very careful to implement controls and ensure its focus remains on improving humanity.
