Microsoft has released Version 4.0 of the Silverlight multimedia plugin. The latest version introduces a range of new features including webcam and microphone support, multicast streaming, and support for streaming to multiple monitors, as well as general performance improvements.

Microsoft has released an update to the Silverlight multimedia plugin, bringing it up to Version 4.0.50826.0. This update contains a range of minor improvements and fixes.

Note:
IE9 RC doesn't seem to update correctly and visiting the Silverlight web page after installing the above still shows the browser as having the old version.
