Windows 7 Is there a key combo that changes screen orientation?

Hi

This morning our cat walked across the keyboard of my wifes computer.
It changed the screen orientation to portrait.

My wife didn't know how to change it back so she had to wait until I got home to fix it.
Nothing sharpens your concentration like having your mouse work at right angles.

But I've looked and I can't find anyway that the cat could have changed it.
This is a Dell Studio lap top running Windows 7 HP.

Anyone know how this could happen?

I can't even count the number of times that the cat has turned off her WiFi! LOL
But that at least I can understand.

It should be Ctrl + Alt + Arrow keys although I cannot confirm at the moment as it doesn't want to play ball (but it used to work).

EDIT!! Just remembered why it no longer works this end. I changed the keyboard. better look in its settings.

Video driver's menu in tray has an option to rotate display, of course it may take some effort getting to it.

You can also use system restore.

Hi guys

The only way I know to do it is to go into video setting and change it there.
I have one of those monitors that rotates so I occasionally do that.

But I have no idea how the cat did it!

I'll check on her computer and see if the control alt arrow key thing works but I can't imagine that the cat hit all those keys at once.

She does have big feet though, 26 toes!!! LOL
The vet always says the should charge extra for her nail trims.

You got a smart cat, why don't you ask him. ; )

Hi again

I checked and Control, Alt, plus the arrow keys does change the screen orientation.
I suppose as unlikely as it seems the cat did step on all these keys at the same time. LOL

I don't know how else it could have happened.

Thanks for the help.

Can't get it to work on my MS 600 keyboard. But it works on my older Logitech one.

Confused of Durham

press CTRL-ALT and the up arrow at the same time and it will fix your screen. Each of the arrows with that combination flip the screen a different way.
