Overview of the Role​

In this diverse role, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks that keep the company's IT infrastructure running smoothly. Listed below are some primary responsibilities:
  • Server Management: Installation and configuration of Windows servers with roles and functions.
  • Domain Management: Handling domain controllers with Active Directory user management.
  • Networking: Configuration of L2 stack switches and VLANs, as well as planning and implementing network segmentation.
  • VPN Management: Responsible for Site-to-Site VPN tunnels (using IPSEC and SSL) and dial-in VPN configurations for remote users.
  • IT Security Development: Continuously improving internal IT security, including installation and configuration of ESXi hypervisors.
  • Cross-Platform Skills: You'll also need to work with Linux servers and cloud solutions, maintaining a robust backup strategy.

What You Bring to the Table​

  • Experience in virtualization technology, notably VMware and its associated networking and storage management.
  • Analytical and Solution-Oriented Skills: The ability to troubleshoot and devise solutions effectively.
  • Proficiency in English is a must, and knowledge of German would be a plus.
