Windows 10 Laptop Stuck on 'Getting Windows Ready' After Update - Need Immediate Help

I had a notification that said 'update ur windows when you shut down or restart' I shut down my laptop and for 30 mins it has been stuck on a screen that says 'getting windows ready, don't turn off computer' I really need to use my laptop right now, can someone help me.
