Hi all,

I had build 7000 and just got 7057 the other day and attempted to upgrade. This worked from vista to 7000 earlier. Everything went fine, a little bit slow, but fine right up until it was ready to start my computer for the first time. It then said the "Setup will continue after your computer is restarted" and now it seems to be stuck in a loop of getting to that point and restarting. Is there anything I can do to try and fix this besides wiping the hard drive and fresh installing?

I saw somewhere that I could roll back, but I'm not quite sure how to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

I can only say 1 thing about that.....

Never do a upgrade, format your previous install.

You cannot rollback such an upgrade. Wipe the harddrive, and install again.

Oh, and to the poster above; I upgraded just fine from 7000 -> 7057. ;)

Sure, it can be successful, but you have hundreds of files scattered in various directories on your computer that are of no use whatsoever.

They simply take up space and are not used by the OS .

A "clean" install is the best solution.
