I'm running Vista on a hp pavilion. I had to swap modems out with suddenlink & had a tech come out to rerun all of my wires. Before the swap I made sure my initial installation tech saw internet on my pc. Now I can't get anything besides "limited connectivity" it's a wireless modem/router combo. I've not yet tried Ethernet, I don't have a cord long enough, but I'm only about 7-8 foot away from modem. I'm on my phone so bare with me. Also I have done ipconfig in command prompt and got tunnel adapter 6 & 7 as media disconnected. Also, I have a d-link wireless manager as well. Thanks!

Firewall and Security Software: - Temporarily disable any security software on your computer that might be interfering with the connection. - Ensure your firewall settings are not blocking network connections. 7. Power Cycle: - Power cycle both your computer and the modem/router by shutting them down, waiting a minute, and then starting them back up. 8. Check Modem/Router Settings: - Log into your router's configuration page to verify settings and ensure that DHCP is enabled. 9. Physical Connection: - If possible, try connecting your computer via Ethernet cable to eliminate potential wireless issues. 10. Contact ISP Support: - If the issue persists, contact your ISP's technical support for assistance with reestablishing your internet connection. By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to diagnose and potentially fix the "limited connectivity" issue you're experiencing on your Windows Vista system with the new modem/router setup.
