Thanks for info. I'll pull out jumper until there won't be new bios versions availiable.

Yeah, thanks. Just went into my BIOS setup menu and disabled the BIOS Update Option.;)

Gigabyte motherboards have a dual bios in case one is compromised by viruses or the chip fails.

My Gigabyte moderboard died few months ago and now i have to live with one old asus motherboard because i can't afford new. :D

How do you remove jumper from a notebook?
My ThinkPad notebook has a setting in the BIOS menu for disabling the BIOS Update feature. It is listed in the Security submenu in the BIOS.

Just remove your BIOS chip and you'll be perfectly safe. :p
