      Solution 2: Fix Registry Errors

    [
]Make sure the UpperFilters and LowerFilters registry values are correct:
    • Incorrect registry values can cause issues with the DVD drive. Check and correct them if necessary.
    • Warning: Editing the registry can have unintended consequences if done incorrectly. Be cautious and back up your registry before making any changes.
    • To do this, you need to navigate to the following registry key:
      Code:
       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
    • Delete the "UpperFilters" and "LowerFilters" values if they exist.
    • Reboot your computer after making the changes.

      Additional Steps:

    []Use System Restore:
    • If the above steps do not work, you can try using System Restore to rollback Windows to a point before the issue occurred.
    [
    ]Check for Windows Updates:
    • Ensure that your Windows operating system is up to date by checking for and installing any available updates.
  2. Try Another DVD Drive:
    • If possible, try using a different DVD drive to check if the issue is specific to the drive itself.

      Caution:

      • Always be careful when making changes to the registry, as incorrect modifications can cause serious issues with your system.
      • If unsure, consider seeking assistance from a professional or a knowledgeable individual to avoid potential problems.
After trying these solutions, check if the DVD drive error has been resolved. If the issue persists, further troubleshooting or assistance from a technical expert may be needed.
