I've got a Pinnacle PCTV Remote Kit for Windows Media Center that used to work fine under Vista but doesn't seem to do anything at all under Windows 7. Just wondering if anyone else out there has any suggestions...

Thanks in advance...

If the device is listed with an error, try updating the driver from Device Manager. 4. Windows Media Center Configuration: - Ensure that Windows Media Center is properly configured to recognize and work with the remote kit. Check the settings within Windows Media Center to see if the remote control is detected. 5. Test with Different USB Ports: - Sometimes changing the USB port where the remote kit is plugged in can resolve connectivity issues. Try connecting it to different USB ports on your computer. 6. Restart Windows Media Center Service: - Restarting the Windows Media Center service can sometimes resolve issues with remote controls not working. You can do this by going to Services, finding the Windows Media Center Receiver Service, and restarting it. 7. Check Batteries: - Ensure that the batteries in the remote control are not depleted. Replace them with fresh batteries and see if that resolves the issue. 8. Community Forums: - Visit community forums or support pages related to Pinnacle products. Other users may have encountered similar issues and could provide solutions or workarounds. By following these steps, you may be able to get your Pinnacle PCTV Remote Kit working with Windows 7.
