Windows 7 Media player doesn't have full-screen mode

Why doesn't the Media Player have a FULL-SCREEN BUTTON ? I read that I can open a file in full-screen mode each time by clicking on the corner button of the full-screen button. Yet my RC 7100 doesn't have a FULL-SCREEN button. I only opens in a small window and I have to "stretch" it each time.

Mine does. Lower right-hand corner. ALT-ENTER will also take you to full screen. The controls at the bottom go away after a few seconds.
