I am using windows 7- 64 bit

It seems like there might be a drive letter conflict or an issue with how Windows is assigning the drive letters to your devices. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve this issue: 1. Change Drive Letter: - Right-click on "Computer" or "This PC" and select "Manage." - In the Computer Management window, click on "Disk Management" under the Storage section. - Right-click on the drive that is showing the incorrect contents (in this case, drive G, and select "Change Drive Letter and Paths..." - Click on "Change" and assign a different drive letter that is not in use (for example, H: or any other available letter). 2. Check Device Manager: - Open Device Manager by pressing Win + X and selecting Device Manager. - Look for any entries under "Disk drives" or "Portable Devices" related to your compact flash card reader. - Right-click on the device and select "Update Driver" to ensure you have the latest drivers installed. 4. Restart Your Computer: - Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve drive letter conflicts or device recognition issues. 5. Check for Windows Updates: - Ensure your system is up to date by checking for Windows updates. Sometimes, updates can address such issues. 6. Check Hardware Compatibility: - Make sure that all your devices, including the memory card reader, are compatible with Windows 7 (64-bit). Check the manufacturers' websites for any compatibility issues or driver updates. By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue of the compact flash card showing the contents of a different drive.
