Hi all,

I have an Acer Aspire 6530g which i upgraded to windows 7 a few years ago.

I did a clean install of windows 7. Since this upgrade i have not been able to get my microphone to work, despite spend DAYS researching it.

I have installed the latest Realtek drivers ive checked that the devices are not muted or anything.

Ive have literally ran out of ideas now.

Please Help!!!

Many Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forums.
Not sure but it's possible that you may have an issue with a corrupt driver installation either due to remnants of an older driver or just a bad update.
Consider using the latest version of Driver Sweeper very carefully to select Realtek Audio, analyze and clean (often times safe mode works best when doing this) all components of the currently installed realtek driver and then use this link Link Removed - Invalid URL to obtain the latest drivers from the hardware manufacturer and run a clean install and see if that helps the situation at all.
