
Microsoft has officially unveiled two Xbox-branded handheld gaming consoles: the ROG Xbox Ally and the ROG Xbox Ally X. These devices are developed in collaboration with ASUS and are set to launch during the 2025 holiday season.
ROG Xbox Ally X:

- Display: 7-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 500 nits peak brightness
- Ports: One USB 4.0 Type-C and one USB 3.2 Type-C
- Battery: 80 Wh
- Processor: AMD Ryzen Z2A SoC
- Memory: 16 GB LPDDR5X-6400 RAM
- Storage: 512 GB SSD
- Display: Same as the Ally X
- Ports: Two USB 3.2 Type-C ports
- Battery: 60 Wh
These handhelds aim to provide a portable gaming experience with access to a wide range of Xbox and PC games, positioning themselves as competitors to devices like the Steam Deck.
