So far I must say I'm very impressed with the way Win 7 has handled my hardware drivers. My system consist of old 8 year+ hardware. Every thing has installed faultless.

Two nights ago I tried installing my MS Elite bluetooth KB. Everything installed fine, entered bluetooth link code via k/board but keyboard does'nt work after that. Also does'nt show in K'board software but it is listed in the BlueTooth device manager.

Seems Microsoft product has compatiblity issues with there own hardware.

Update Bluetooth Drivers: - Make sure that you have the latest Bluetooth drivers installed on your computer. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause connectivity problems. - You can visit the manufacturer's website or use Windows Update to check for driver updates. 3. Re-Pair the Keyboard: - Remove the pairing of the keyboard from your computer's Bluetooth settings and then pair it again. - This can sometimes reset any incorrect settings that might be causing the issue. 4. Check Battery Level: - Ensure that the batteries in the Microsoft Elite Bluetooth Keyboard are not low. Low battery levels can cause connectivity problems. 5. Compatibility Mode: - You can try running the software for the keyboard in compatibility mode. Right-click on the software executable, go to Properties, then Compatibility tab, and choose an older version of Windows. 6. Check Device Manager: - Verify in Device Manager if there are any warnings or errors associated with the Bluetooth keyboard. You can try updating the driver from there as well. 7. Microsoft Support: - If the issue persists, you can reach out to Microsoft Support for assistance. They might have specific troubleshooting steps tailored for the Microsoft Elite Bluetooth Keyboard.
