What happens when you download or use something in applications that runs on 32 bit or 64 bit windows? How can you jude things that will run on Windows 7, 32 bit, or 64 bit? For instance, I'm thinking of downloading Microsoft PPS viewer. One is sort of generic. The other is for Windows 32 bit. I have Windows 64 bit.

Printers are the same way. It took me a bit of research to find ones which will run on Windows 7 64 bit.

Just curious.

It's basically down to reading the description of the information given for a particular item of hardware or software - anything likely to be worth having should indicate hardware and software compatibility and requirements.
