Windows 7 Need Help Removing a VHD File Created During Ubuntu Installation

Alright, I was trying to install Ubuntu but it wasn't working, and I had reason to believe that it was because of Windows. So I tried to make a new partition to install it on. I ended up making a "VHD" file on my Desktop, and now I can't get rid of it. I tried the disc manager thing and it isn't even showing up on the list.

Please help quickly. I made the thing 20 Gigs haha

Maybe try Shift + Delete to bypass the recycle bin.

Does it show as read only in properties?

Do you have something running that might be using it, for example is it mounted on a virtual drive?

Can you move it to another location and delete?

If none of those work, you may have to take ownership, OK back out then change the permissions.
