Windows 7 net problem rather silly and hard to fix

The adsl2 router is set to optus and connects to the internet but its slow changing pages.
The problem it shows no network connections . no home groups only set to public and I cant change it to private.
I have some phots that could show what the problem is , I think its was related to some sofware thats now been removed
appreciate some assistance.
