DOOM looks awesome and plays extremely well on ultra settings. That plus playing it on ultra violent is fun and challenging.

paging through techradar's newest revelations … your post here came to mind. they've got an article on omen (desktop/laptop) … hp plans to release their model-x behemoth (desktop) tomorrow (08-17). prebuilt configurations start at close to $2g … but specs sound really exciting as well.
