I have a desktop machine that I built and the ASUS motherboard died. ASUS sent me a replacement under warranty (exact same model). This machine is running Windows 7 Professional. I used to be able to access remote desktop from my other PCs using the DNS friendly name. Now I can only access using its IP address.
I tried flushing the DNS cache of all PCs, and also went into regedit and removed the MRU entries in
HKEY/CURRENT USER/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/TERMINAL SERVER/DEFAULT
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
