Windows 7 New Windows 7 User Seeking Help with Common Issues

Just bought a new PC with Windows7 so thought I would join up.

Pleased with most of it but have a few issues that were easy to solve with XP.

Tried searching here but nothing came up so please accept my apologies if I post
anything that has been posted before.

Welcome If you do some searching you might find a solution to your problem that's already been posted. People here don't get upset over posts, except for duplicate posts in multiple topics.
